As most people here will know, DBS changed its name to The Game Creators' Ltd (TGC) (Because DBS now does a lot more besides DB)

I know that this is set in stone now, but does anyone else think that it is a bit, well, lame and tacky?

Has anyone any ideas as to what it could have been?

I didn't know actually... I presume all the e-mail addresses will change soon too...

Its not too bad - cant think of anything better... I generally choose quasi-comical names (see Walker 2 on the Archimedies for a description of what OFUD stands for).

I can see this topic is going to be locked soon ('cos people start complaining, moaning and grumbling)...

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...

Well there is already GoD (can't remember what it means), but it think they should have an anagram too.

or maybe should've been like a simple name like
Basic Interactive
Gameware Boutiqué
Dark Ltd
dBasic Studios

i dunno seems silly to drop the DarkBASIC name really, because although they're also showcasing other programs DarkBASIC/DarkBASIC Professional are the only programs which they actually develop themselves.

if they were going to change it should've just been from
DarkBASIC Software Ltd
to
DarkBASIC Studios Ltd

as it means that its no longer the brandname of just a single produce.

or maybe Basicsoft (^_^) lol - might've been an idea to ask the community about what they think would be right and then they decided one of them or came up with thier own name with all of those ideas
