Im new to Dark GDK
I am trying to load a 3d object into my game world. I've downloaded some .3ds files of buildings and stuff.
I use this command:
dbLoadObject ( "temple.3DS", 2 );
But when I DEBUG and the program starts, It freezes with a black backgound.

If I remove that line and do something simple like:
dbMakeObjectCube ( 1, 50 ) ;
It works fine.

When I use files in the .X format, It works fine. but the .3ds models (including the ones that come with Dark GDK) all give me the same problem, am I missing something about the file format?

3ds is not really supported, use x or dbo.
theres a free Panda exporter for every version of max from 3.1 to the latest
