This allows you to play MP3, MP2, MP1, OGG or WAV files.
You will also be able to stream from the internet.

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...

I know - wonder if I should start charging for them !?

Anyhoo, the MOD playing is a different section (which I'll probably add shortly) - which I've done now.

The internet thing is only for MP3, MP2, MP1, OGG or WAV files. Works very well - got it streaming from my web site...

This could come in handy - The OGG support will be useful. Of course, it'll be nice to have Toady's traditional home-coded quality

Charging for plugins is an interesting idea, but would people use them then?

perhaps make it a license scheme, so they can use them free unless they release a title with it - else you'd have to sell them for like $2.50/plugin or something small

The trouble with a licensing scheme is that you dont know when/if people will release a title with it...

I'm going to take the plunge and charge a fiver for it (for Raven, thats £5), and see what happens...

The freeware version will have all the required commands - the commercial one will have all the remaining commands...

traditional home-coded quality
Hope you mean that in a good way...

For the full version, I'll also be adding WMA support.

suppose your right about the licensing, kinda something about the new FMTau site being heavily java/php based is to have a section where you can register to try out the licenseable plugins - so we'll have everyone on record who are allowed to use them, guess it'd come down to just being truthful about using them or not in the end.

i've gotta get my freebies up on the web again sometime atleast into the forum.

One other thing, there is a licensing system for the BASS.DLL/BASSWMA.DLL (see http://www.un4seen.com/)
