How do I get my models to light map with transparent textures such as windows.
I tried all formats TGA,PNG, and DDS and still doesn't work for me. but yet it seems the demo models works fine enough?

You need to ensure that image contains valid alpha map channel. Then add your transparent objects using lm add transparent collision object object,2.

Then I take it that there is no way to do this in the lightmapper like the default model?
this has to be manually?

I guess there is no way to make transparent limbs in the supplied light mapper. Your best bet is to open the light mapper source code and poke around with it. You can even try to modify it the way so you could select a limb and specify that it should be transparent. Dark Lights is quite customizable plugin.
