....you'll be amazed how much rubbish comes out ! I shook out tin foil, grass, hairs, bits of what look like skin , earwax, rubber rubbings, wood shavings, crisp crumbs, chocolate, several bits of fluff and a dead fly .

What's in your keyboard ? (or am I just extremely messy ?)

My keyboard is perfect - I have a fear of getting drinks anywherer near keyboards, after I ruined the first one I had by spilling a 2L Coke bottle into it.

Do you want Windows menus in your DBP apps? - Get my plugin: http://snow.prohosting.com/~clone99/downloads/tpc_menus_103.zip

Hmmm. My ones at home are fine. My one at work is like a litter tray when you turn it upside down. Sometimes I can hear small cries for help from within the cracks...

Interestingly my boss has a keyboard that is now partly yellow. He smokes like a chimney basically. Not nice. Although when I used to smoke, and back in Dubai, basically we would get through around 60 ciggies each (3 people in a small office with overworked AC) in an average 12-15 hour working day. Was mainly because a packet of fags was about 25p. Turning the keyboard upside down there would cause around half a packet of rolling baccy to fall out. Those were the days....

Cheers

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

hey Rob when you spill drink over a keyboard best thing to do is take it and put it outside immediately, or somewhere there is a breeze and its a little warm
to make sure the keys don't stick you then take all of them off and cleans the inside. (can't tell you how often i spill tea/coke/orange juice/etc on mine )

joins haggis's messy keyboard club.
I use a decade old terminal keyboard.
It has a unique clicking motion like the older keyboard sounds and full cliking motion, Im not privvy to these silenter type keyboard mechanisms.

My mac has a IIfx one in a similar regard.
I draw all over my keyboards, I draw all the people and pets that have past on to other worlds.

By the way Indi, is your lama being electrocuted or has it got a radioactive substance shoved up its bottom?

No, belive it or not, it's a desktop, and I watched that ant crawl into my keyboard.

I remember my brother had an Amiga 600. One time it wasn't working so he took it apart and this massive spider crawled out of the keyboard. It must have crawled in and then grown.
