It's long overdue, but seeing as this item still gets quite a bit of use, I finally fixed a bug with the "open restroom stall" from Model Pack 2 that causes the player to fall through the level.

I've also widened it slightly so the player can enter it a bit easier. Place it in your "Modern Day 2" folder, overwriting the old one. Then delete the .bin and .dbo files.

No thanks are needed. I'm a little embarrased and feeling guilty that took me this long to fix it. At least I hope it's fixed now, I couldn't reproduce it with this new version.

Can you tell us how you solved the problem because I and I know other users have come up against this problem before with other models.
It would be very helpful to many if you could give us any information about it.

It was mostly down to sloppy modeling on my part, and not exporting it using "best practices". I found a duplicated edge, so that there were 2 identical edges sitting top of each other, a couple duplicate verts that needed to welded. And I had exported the original model without "collapsing the stack", which is 3ds max lingo. In other words, I didn't export the model in it's simplist, most basic form.

Nowadays, I keep a checklist of things to do before exporting models, printed and sitting on my desktop. I check them off one by one before exporting.

For non-animated entities:

Prior to export:

1. Scale to correct size.
2. Name object appropriately (not exactly mandatory, but it sure keeps thing organized
3. Perform low threshold vertex weld (something like 0.01 tolerance) to check for any messy geometry that would need to cleaned up.
4. Center model at origin, center pivot to object or place at 0,0,0
5. Convert to editable mesh
6. Reset X-Form, collapse stack
7. Export

What .bin and .dbo files are you supposed to delete exactly?

The ones in your modelpack 2 folder that says "bathroom stall open.bin" and "bathroom_stall_open.dbo".

It looks like I don't have those files. I only have an .x file, .fpe file and a .bmp file.

Maybe it is because I have an updated version of Model Pack 2. I bought it about a month ago.

If you have never placed that entity in the editor, then you will not have the .bin and .dbo files, and you don't have to worry about deleting them. Those files are created for entities when the level is tested.
