OpenOffice has a Database Programme which is simular to MSAccess, so would there be any compatable DLL which would let me access both a Table and a Query from an OpenOffice Database?

Not that I know of, but that would be very useful - I use OpenOffice at home.

I've looked and it turns out that the database is called HSQLDB, and that it's written in Java and provides a JDBC interface for OpenOffice to interact with. Unless someone provides a C++ to JDBC bridge for free somewhere, that lets me out.
