Is there any chance that FPSC X10 will support widescreens and aspect ratios of 16:10/16:9? It is VERY annoying to see things stretched out on your screen. Looks just like FPSC X9 with better lighting.

wow thats cool especially when you consider it uses darklights just like x9..., what games do properly support widescreen? cant you change the resolution manually like in x9?

I think the proper question is which games don't.

X9 now supports widescreen (or so I hear) and my suspicion is X10 does aswell, but the aspect ratio is already messed up so you wouldn't notice

Tons of games support widescreen. How am I supposed to set X10 or X9 up for widescreen?

X10 automaticly uses your Desktop Resolution if I remember it correctly, but all characters look 2x as wide anyway, even on a normal screen.

I'm surprised this isn't a huge issue for most people since widescreen monitors are becoming more popular than the standard 4:3

I really like this engine so far - but this is a very big problem since none of my artwork looks properly proportioned. I hope there is a work around or update soon to solve this issue.

Yes, I agree with turnstyle, it totally disproportionates everything on the game. I don't why they can't fix it, it shouldn't be more then fixing the aspect ratio or field of vision for the character or something.

The aspect ratio is already messed up? I notice when I put in boxes from the old model backs (the ones that have been updated for x10) they are more like rectangles that squares...

Everything else looks short and squat too.
