I have been going through the forums and i cannot find a tutorial on how to creat water in Dark GDK. Could anyone out there please post a link to a tutorial or at least tell me where to start makeing water in dark gdk.

For the water surface the "Frensel Shader" does a very nice job.

For under the surface try adjusting ambient light, making a particle system and adding caustics textures to to the floor. Maybe shafts of light too.

What kind of water do you want? - oceaan/pond, river, running tap?

Please give more information.

Create a normal map of water, then put it on a plane, animate the plane if you want to move or whatever... then apply the shader in the code.

...and then somehow render it. Haha, idk how.

Use a plain for the surface and either texture it with a watery texture and use alpha mapping or ghost it. Or better still use the Frensel Shader - you can find one in the ultimate shader pack in program announcements.

For under the water do like I said above - if its murky pond then you probably best not having caustics.
