hello all,

I am trying to create a DLL using darkGDK and visual studio 2005 which shall be used in my further projects. the problem is this DLL uses the darkGDK engine and so I have to include darkGDK.h. The source code compiles well, but the linker tells me the symbol DLLMain is already defined elsewhere.

I understood it came from the fact that the core.lib library has a WinMain function which is automatically launched when darkGDK engine is loaded. So I tried not tu use core.lib, but all others libraries need this one to work. What should I do?

thanks in advance, and sorry for my far-to-be-perfect english :S

Just search for it, people have tried.

Direct answer: you CAN'T make DLLs with DarkGDK, period!

I think this comes from DGDK's beggining, so people wouldn't make DLLs that other people could possibly use without paying for it. But this I can't confirm for sure...

yes, I was afraid there wouldn't be any solution because of the reason you mentioned... thank you kBessa
