Wow, looks nice. I can't download now because the page won't load, but wow. Is the whole thing one object or are they separate segments, entities and such? Is it all free?

Intel Q6600 at 3.0 GHz; XFX nVidia GeForce 8800GT 512mb; 4 Gigabytes of RAM; and FPSC. Oh, and ignore my name.

That's an awesome bit of model, even if it isn't a program, and even if it's out of the price range of pretty much everyone on this forum.

Looks a lot like the X-Universe, don't you think?

Ya, it really isn't. Those look like they're straight out of Oblivion. If I had an RPG and needed media, I would buy these in a heartbeat. Too bad I can't make an RPG.

Same here, but I'm looking at the warehouse pack, $50 gets me pretty much all of the models that I need for my horror game.

Those are quite beautiful models.

This is a somewhat random side note...but where you say "Indie/Commercial Licence", shouldn't it be "License"? Just throwing it out there

Really nice model, but I'm not sure that your maximizing your sell potential like this.

I mean 1 really nice building model is gonna look out of place unless there are other buildings that match it's style and quality.

What I'd rather see is a pack, with buildings like that but stripped down - then the furniture as seperate objects. If you made a good selection of buildings in that style, and provided furniture to go with it instead of making it part of the building, then you would have a very saleable pack because it could encompass a whole area, you could populate a whole village with quality media and that's what people are looking for IMO, especially us media-weak game developers.

It's like the difference between providing a model, or providing a solution, models can only get you so far.

less is more, but if less is more how you keeping score?

But we ARE providing complete sollution. First we released Medieval House pack, then Blacksmith, than one village tavern, now we released Farm. What is next is Chatedral with graveyard models, so you will get all models to fill one nice village. So soon you will have all

...most on these boards can't afford to spend what you're asking for these model packs...no matter how incredible they appear to be.

This is a thing of beauty, but it's kinda steep for this community...

The fact remains that of all the users on these boards, the majority (id go so far as to say more than 90%) are 16 or younger, without the cash flow to spend on 20 dollar model packs available (except for the few that sucker their parents into buying it for them).

Break that down even more though, consider how many media worthy games are being made with DBP right now. Its a small number as is, but almost all of the good ones on the WIP board already have decent modelers / graphic artists. Doing a quick count Id say maybe 10 games on the WIP board would have a need for some quick, high quality media.

So 10 people, that could possibly be interested, and of those 10 some might be so young they dont have the cash to even consider purchasing.

The pricing in actuality is amazing, especially for a proper indie company looking to fill their worlds quickly with high detailed models. The problem is you wont find many of those here.

I agree with most of the things that Ruccus has said. However, I don't understand the point of what he is saying.

I agree that there is a very strong liklehood that most forum members are 16 or younger.
I agree that this group are unable to buy these models.
I agree that they are an excellent price (even before the rebate offer).

The reason that I am confused as to the point Ruccus is trying to make is in his final line "The problem is you wont find many of those here."
You see, it costs nothing to advertise a product here, so even if only a single customer is obtained from doing so, then it was still worth doing. And I for one would be a willing customer. I think the price is excellent and the products look great.

However, I have learned my lesson the hard way. I bought several model packs from Arteria and was incredibly let down by the quality when I received the models. I swore I would never do that again. I can't be the only person who feels that way. So, if Dejan was able to offer samples of his work, then maybe more people would be willing to buy from him.

I was trying to say the only way you can counter the fact that the buying community on these boards is so low, is to lower the price. I got a little side tracked.
