okay, so I got the newest update for direct x 9.0c. How the heck do i install it? i've tried everything, including putting it into different folders in the install menu. nothing works.

I NEED THIS TO INSTALL FPSC UPDATES!!!!!!!

if youve downloaded the redistributable package you havent installed it just extracted the files go to the folder you extract to and run setup.

Your question doesn't make sense. The DirectX executable does not ask you where you want to save the update. It knows what to update and where.

Go here. Click the button that says continue, then then click download. On the download prompt, click run and follow the prompts.

It asks for a temporary location to store the files in. Anywhere is fine. Then you can install it.

That's only if you download the file. Select run instead and it won't ask any questions.

I have to transfer it from one comp to another, so i have to save the file. SO WHERE DO I PUT IT????

i got it i had to unzip all of the files and extract them then the installer started up
