hey,
i am starting a project to make a game that will play shoutcast radio from http://www.sanitarium.fm however i can see that there is currently no support for streaming audio. Just the standard mp3 files ... has anyone got any library's that could help me build my own system for this ? or have i managed to just miss it on the forums in my searching ? would be really helpful as i haven't been able to find much on Google to help either

i did find this in my websearch.

unfortunatly i believe the Code is in C#...
unless you know of somewhere that explains how to convert c# functions to C++

but thank you for the link, that would be exactly the sort of thing that would help if i could get an example in c++

There is a Sound Library for Irrlicht that is standalone, and it streams I think... It DEFINATELY Allows you to select a MP3 and it "Streams" it automatically while it goes (in another process I think) versus loading the whole file first.
