Dark GDK / Skybox Problem

why when i move near skybox or when im far away from it, appears something 'big and blue' at skybox?
sry it is a dumb question.. first time using dark gdk

Eitehr your camera range is set wrong or youve moved outside your skybox ( it is just a 3dbox with texture's inside so moving outside of your skybox = nothing.

Try scaling it larger dbScaleObject() or something along those lines.

Stuck in the land of the confused! and loving it!

im not moving outside skybox..
how i change the camera range? this will solve the problem? : /

the "big blue" thing is the default color of your backdrop. If you can not avoid this even while changing your camera range, you can change this color (eg if you are in space, change the color to black) using the command dbColorBackdrop(color). you can use the function dbRGB(red, green, blue) to generate a color.

No you can't but, if your skybox or sphere is bigger than your camera range - then the backdrop shows through - its rather ugly... TOTALLY Ruins a Scene... Especially when its not a problem unless you look certain angles and just a piece of the skybox goes beyond cam range.... that's like the ultimate in Unacceptable!
