i was just wondering, how would you make a spot light effect on the object and have the object respond the the light ( example, reflect the light, create a glare , along those lines)?

any ideas?

Start with Cone Light, Experiment with an actual cone with alpha turned on.... made semi transparent might give you a spot light look - otherwise is a flashlight ... you see the "dot" move around where the light hits (cone light...spotlight whatever setting it is, has inner cone value and outer cone) These effect the brightness kinda.

Glare/ You should getsomething decent from hardware lighting... But you may be getting into Shader territory if you get tofancy.
