It seems that intellisense is set to Off by default in VS C++ 2008. How do you switch it back on? (It works great in C#).

Mine was on by default and I've never had to mess with it so I'm only taking a guess.

Before opening a project go to

/Tools/Options/Text Editor/CC++/General

You probably want to make sure that the options are clicked under "Statement Completion."

If you have no such option (I haven't looked yet) you can always hit "Alt + Right Arrow" after your first typed character to manually call the Intelli-sense. I'm not sure about Visual Studio 2008 Standard/Pro but I found that works in C++ Express 2008. I hope that helps.

I hope that this isn't like necroposting or anything. But I linked the Library and Include paths to the C++ Directories and now it's showing on the bottom left "Updating IntelliSense(6)" 6 being the % I guess. It takes a long time but. So this should be your solution.
