Hi all, just a quick question I am sure it has been answered before, but I would like to create a text when you approach a point. The problem I got is that I am using signs to create this but the text is on a black background which I do not want, I want it to be like in the signs manual just text. I have tried to solve this but have not managed as of yet can someone put me right so I can move on thanks.

If you are sure that it has been answered before, then a search of the forums should bring you a faster answer than creating a new thread to ask it again.

I create my text HUDs in Paint. It works perfectly fine and the black background will show up transparent once loaded into FPSC.

I am aware of "subject search" thanks, but trying to find such a simple answer is not as easy as a direct subject question. I just want a direct answer based on using signs if possible. I will also try this idea as well thanks.

You just choose sign and then don't load anything for the sign and make sure you have "transparancy" selected.Name the hud and save...then Signs will let you add your script.
I attached a pic to help you out.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

A big thanks for that, now at least when someone else needs this answer as well, it will now be available to all to read and understand.

Thankyou.
