Hi,

I bought FPSC recently and would like to add my own content, which programs created by the game creators and by other companies are best to edit models and textures?

do the game creators make an easy to use program to edit models, same with textures?

say if I used photoshop to make the textures do they have a program so that they can easily be imported/used in the game for a model

Also does the game creators have a easy to use model editing program? or is it easier to use milkshape?

would any program from game creators or 3rd party make it possible to import a model file in the FPSC directory and edit it? as a place to start?

I have done some model and texture editing for a couple pc games before, but I would by no means say I am an expert.

Sorry if this has been posted before.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

any advice would be appreciated as I would like to get started making, hopefully, some decent games.

Thanks,
Mike

Ok mate....

For textures I'd recommend Photoshop, if you have it, you can download an Nvidia DDS Plugin.....

If not then search GIMP, it's free and the nearest thing to Photoshop.....

For modelling I'd recommend Milkshape,($50), or if you can't get that, then get Anim8or and Pandasoft Converter,($0)......

Good Luck, and have fun making your content!
