Once again posts are being misread. It's grand isn't it?
To everyone else who seem to have horse blinds on when reading my posts, No one said it was not awesome of Fraps to do what he did. I was commenting on the amount of time he had the sale going. It wasn't even going for 12 hrs. What type of business sense does that make? absolutely none.
John H,
[qoute]Selling models that you more than likely put 20+ hours of work into a pop for less than $1.00 a model is more generous than I could ever be. No ragging on this guy, he could have very likely made a much larger profit margin than he did, seeing as all those models would go for about $20.00 or so if sold alone on turbosquid[/qoute]
No, he could not sell these for more. I'm explaining below.
Fraps,
do you have any screen shots of how these show in a few different engines? Are any of the control surfaces rigged for animation? Are any of the control surfaces even separate so they can be rigged for animation? Is there landing gear? Is it rigged or can it be rigged for animation? are there different texture maps, ones that show the model how it was in WWII, ones that show different stages of damage? Are there HUD views for each of the aircraft and vehicles?
If you answered NO to more than 75% of these than what you have provided us is static props and nothing more. And with nothing show how these model look in DBPro I am not inclined to touch these with a 200 ft stick.
best,
Dave
