1) Haven't tried deleting a vehicle, can't help you there...
2) phy set rigid body position = on a veicle works just fine for me. I do it with no problems in several programs (to reset the car to a specified position)
3) Also when resetting my vehicle, I 'stop' it completely (so it doesn't bounce off into the sunset right after you reset). I use:
phy set rigid body angular velocity car, 0, 0, 0
phy set rigid body linear velocity car, 0, 0, 0
phy set rigid body linear momentum car, 0,0,0
phy set rigid body angular momentum car, 0,0,0
I don't think I even need the last two honestly. I think I do it in other apps without worrying about momentum.
I've been looking for the last hour for the thread relating to making a vehicle powerslide/drift using those commands (can't remember how to speeel them which is half the problem!!!) asympte or something like that.
I remember someone Finally had a working example of a DarkPhysics car drifting and sliding (sort of, mostly HA HA) . Can someone pretty pretty please show me the thread or code snippet again please? Thanks very very much.
Hope that helps.
