You have to code them, so if you can't program, then it's very difficult...

Or you could buy a software that makes them...

DarkShader is good for shaders, except only a select few work in FPSC.

if you mean making shaders for your segments/entities

http://www.crazybump.com

you want:
Normal map
Diffuse Texture
Specularity Map (i wouldnt bother though)

name your textures like this:
filename_D2 = Original texture
filename_N = Normal Map
filename_D = Diffuse texture
filename_S = Specularity Map

then in your fpe/fps put this in the effect= row (all of them if segment):
effect= effectbank\illuminationmap\illuminationmap.fx segment

effect= effectbank\illuminationmap\bumpent.fx Entity

If you're searching for how to WRITE shaders, then you're looking in the wrong board, bro.

This board is for people using a piece of software that "requires no coding".

Hop on over to the DarkBASIC Professional board and there's a sticky there appropriately entitled "Learning to write Shaders". It's usually the very top thread.

Have fun!
