FPS Creator X10 / Point system. What can I do with it?

Hi!

I am soon going to order FPSCX10 since I got my new computer with 8800Gt and just a some questions about how the pointsystem wrks and what it is capable to do.

1. How do the player recive points?

2. Can the player buy things with the cost of points?

3. Is there any chance to have a high score function, either by a 3rd party tool or with FPSCX10?

4. Is there a way to have the game complete screen affected by points?
Like 1000points - showing picture: You can do better
2000points - showing picture: Good work
3000points - showing picture: Excellent

Thats all for now.

BVG,

The player receives points through collecting items and killing enemies. You can't buy stuff with the points as it is just for the level you are on., You could create a script which draws the score onto the screen. For a message for the score, try the above one.

How do you mean? If the player buy a gun, will it be only for that level?

You can't buy anything. You can pick-up items and get points. But I don't believe there's and inventory system to allow you to exchange items and points(money).

There is a shop script for X9, you buy things for health.
Or you dont really buy it as in CS, if you accept to loose 10 health you will get able to pick up the gun or whatever it is.

I think its possible to "create" a script like the shop one, but instead of losing health, you lose points... Maybe someone should look up on that... Im not saying its not possible, but i dunno, so someone who has X10, can look that up... It might be...

You can't buy guns. You can only pick them up in the level. Sorry about that. I agree with EFT aswell, you could design a script which lose points to gain health.

I ordered X10 to sweden and I got it like 1-2 weeks after ordering. It doesn't take that long, since TGC is a UK-based company.
