cna i make a mesh animation that looks like water using character fx or memblocks or something.

someone recently posted a converted bb3d to dbp project which simulates water... the source is pretty clean and worth checking out

Of course you can animate a mesh to simulate water - memblocks or vertex shaders would work fine, but there's also a high-speed mesh called a matrix that would do it just as well and without any fiddly commands.

As for the technique: one or more sine wave motions often result in a realistic water motion.
