For me it's the arguments on the forum. Mainly 'cos I haven't touched DB for a while, since doing some of the IDE plugins, because of one reason or another.

Sigh.. pretty weak... but.... your avatar isn't as good as mine....

Cheers

i always find that moving past the arguments and going onto the fall blow flamewars...

however this epic with Simple, i'm sure that shouldn't be called a Flamewar, but something bigger

its like the whole WW1 & 2 stuff, theres the good people (me) and the evil people (simple) hehee ... just look at his signature picture, look how he tortures his prisoners of war... how barbaric

Yes arguments are too easy to lose, flamewars on the other hand never have a clear winner and by the time they are over nobody cares or remebers what the original argument was about.

Well I don't know about you, but coding for a good 5 hours only to spend the next 3 try to find that one error is far from fun to me.

Dazzag, sorry, but I think your avatar sucks bigtime! Mines nicked from another site (radioheads), so yep, I think I should make my own, but then if I did that everyone elses would look rubbish. Especially Mattmans!!!

Pah, Flat Eric is so last year ....

My avatar is full of retro goodness .

I'd have to say coding is more fun than reading Ravens half-meg posts - but it's fun when the BB boys pop over for a fight

Some people would have taken the ninja smilie as a joke; we have those here quite a lot (jokes, not ninjas).

Perhaps sitting waiting for BB to be mentioned on DB forum is considered a full and happy life over at blitzcoder?

Maybe this would be better:
"It's fun when blitzers appear talking crap and trying to flame us for no good reason. It only gets better when one proclaims his love for Mark Sibly then proceeds to disapear up their own arse." x-d (Smilie, common indication of joke)

well pikachu is holding the latest in killing technology
2x FN-Seven9's ... not to mention his snazzy nose-clip Oakley Shades.

i've been thinking of asking Sep if he'll do a little artwork and perhaps make some short films with him, ... typical 2000AD stuff, dunno but i've kinda wanted to do some flash films for a while - taking pikachuu from that Pokémon atmosphere, givin' him a kinda evil voice (moi's) and then also making him a right b**tard

i think thats be pretty cool, have him into being a criminal or something hehee

I prefer to argue with DB, shout at my computer and hit the mouse on the desk, like it really will make a difference.

Damn keyboards, throwing out typos left, right and centre, causing my code to do the unexpected.

And you lot...well...you just make me recode everytime I ask a question. Can't you just blame it on DB and not me? No? Oh well, I'll forgive you all....eventually.

Thanks in advance.

I tend to launch the mouse at the wall, and mash the keyboard with my fist, it can hurt to mash it with your palm . I got wise though, nowadays I nab mice from work and buy second hand Dell keyboards (chunky clicky keys and they last - for £2.50!). I'd love to loose it on a PC, just go nuts and mash it up.

First thing, that nice smooth cd tray, CRUNCH!
Second thing, drop it out of a 3rd floor window, to get it open, CLANG!
Third thing, reverse over it with a bin lorry.

After shutting it down properly of course .

@ReD_eYe: Note the Quotations around "Thier". Disney tries to grab everything their greedy little hands on. Hell have you noticed how such stories as Snow White, Cinderella, or Sleeping Beuity have not been retold since Disney made thier moves on them. These stories are public domain, no one can own them, but I's sure you try to make a movie or something about them and Disney will be pounding on the door with copyright bullsh*t.

@jimbo1913: Nirvana is a place reached by lifelong meditation, it holds all the answers to the universe, it is zen. If I didn't somewhat follow Budist thought, I would be highly offended at that statement.

hey Van you've never just gone nuts on a PC before?
i've had so many computers die from unnatural causes its not funny.

i had this old 286 which i'd bought from the scrapheap for a few bob, got it home and it was all good for a while then the screen started to mess up - i'd go to open it up and it'd stop, so i'd leave it... eventually it pee'd me off so bad i took a golf club and just put it right through the screen centre

another time i'd just got this state of the art Penitum3 i was so happy, had a 15" TFT - 256Mb Ram (the most i'd ever been able to afford) and a huge 10gb hdd i was so happy... so i was off to work came home to see a keyboard on the pavement outside all smashed up - though "hmm thats odd" ... next thing i saw was my montior chucked out landing at my feet in like a badgillion peices.
Closely followed by the PSU.

later i came to find out that a mate (female) had called for me to make sure we were all still going out friday for a drink ... my girl at the time kinda took it the wrong way and decided to make PC Pizza.
still it was nice to look at for the 10hrs i'd had it for

Hehe...
I'm far too much of a hoarder to break anything these days - I'm more likely to fix it and stick it in someones PC!. When I was a kid though, whoah I was a violent little git!

People throwing out TV's would hide them from me and my brothers, because we loved smashing them up! - we'd drag them somewhere secluded then borrow some tools - Half a house-brick for the screen, a 12lb mash (mallet) and a couple of claw hammers, we'd have it shredded in no time!. I still laugh at that Limp Bizkit song 'Break Stuff' - Fred shouting ''Give me something to break'', ''How 'bout your f****** face!''. Just reminds me of my childhood. The best things to break though are strip lights, you know those real long lights they use in offices etc, well we found a lot of used strip lights so invented a game. We'd sorta underhand lob them 'caber' style and see who could get the whole thing to smash in 1 throw - if they land right, they totally desintigrate into a little pile of powdered glass .
