You still aren't running on a video card that is compatible. Are you trying the Alky Project stuff? You're just going to run into problem after problem. (I learned that trying the Wine project by Codeweavers)

Save up your pennies for Vista and a new graphics card. People are finding cards for as little at $100.

What graphics card is in your Dell?
It sounds like you dont have the Direct X 10 required graphics card. You need a NVidia Geforce 8000 series or higher, or one of the new ATI (sorry don't know the numbers) then you will need a better graphics card.

Even though you have purchased a new computer, and are running Vista. Vista doesn't require a direct x 10 graphics card, and they may not put one in for you.

So check that and post a reply

8800GT will run you about $180USD, but it won't work with your PSU.
I have a E521 and I just put a 8600GT ($150 XFX Fatal1ty) in my system.

A 8600GT is great for FPSCx10.

That 8800GT *should* work with your E521, because it only needs 22 Amps on the the 12V rail.

A Dell 305W PSU has about 22 Amps on the 12V Rail, it has 2 12V rails. Also I know a few people who use that card with your Dell model. Evga's cards use alot less power because they are mainly at stock speeds.

Also, if it doesn't work, eBay FTW!
