Hey just wondering I'm a AM when it comes to FPSC I can make basic games and just about it if I take sometime and can make a pretty good game worthy of selling in schools but I'm getting to the stage of I want better weapons so I was wondering what you favorite weapon model pack out of MP5, MP6, MP9, MP10 because I want some good weapons and They all come with hands for a bit more realism to my games thanks

I love them all. Let's have some fun as to why:

Model Pack 5: I love this pack simply because it's got some cool guns in it. Military guns that can be used for modern games. Mixes in great with Model Pack 1. The only real downside is they're all pretty much the same gun, but with different damage amounts/reload times. And the hands suck. Bluntly put, but they will grow on you as you mess around with them.

Model Pack 6: My all-time favorite. Nice, clean guns with great hands. And the best part, some weapons allow dual-wielding. Though it is a primitive form of it (It ain't Halo, you can't mix it up or drop just one gun etc.), as the dual MP5s are separate guns from the MP5 itself. Just very nice guns.

Model Packs 9 & 10: The best quality guns you'll find. No doubt in the world. Bunches of awesome military weapons, nice to the eyes. Absolutely LOVE em. There's one downside (like there is to many packs), the sounds are cheesy and are overall very terrible. But that can be solved with a quick trip to an SFX site.

They're all great, so you can decide on which you like the best. My opinion has been voiced.

MP6 FTW,

You should expand that to ALL guns in FPSC.

Every non-flak weapon in FPSC is the same weapon, just with a different model, speed of fire, reloading time, damage dealt, etc.

I think my favorite model pack would have to be.... stock.

I dunno why, but I just use stock all the time. Maybe one day I'll move up to something better.

MPs 9 & 10 all the way, baby! Get them both, and I recommend [href]www.flashkit.com[/href] for weapon sounds, which are all royalty free (I think).

I find myself drawn to MP5 the most. I love the selection there. But they are all amazing model packs.

Heh, you made it too easy. Yeah, that's where I get my sounds from, some sounds are marvelous, but then again, some are made by some 9-year-old making sounds with his mouth...

Me too, but I really don't know why... I guess I just like the guns in the pack, I guess.

Well, ask your mum if you can get both MP 9 and 10. If not, then decide; look at both of them. I'd go with MP10 because it has a sniper rifle, but that's just me. And what does AM mean, if you don't mind me asking?

I like pack 16 a lot. The trouble is that many of the best items are pretty specific and will be instantly recognisable in any game. The thing I like best about the packs in general is that they allow you to get half-decent ideas together quickly; you can then go back and make custom media where necessary.

Why not put your game together with the stock media you already have, and then see which weapons (from which pack) you think would fit the game best? You can then add/replace the stock weapons.

I already know the perfect weapons but I think the best would be MP10 but I may be wrong because MP5 MP6 MP9 have weapons perfect for my games as well I select MP10 because it would be more detailed and better animated but right me if im wrong.

I would not recommend MP5 if you are serious about making a game. The hand animations are way too stiff.

It really felt like a downgrade, getting mp5 after mp6. I thought all the guns would look the same and be just as good (They weren't). Then again, acually I thought the scripting language was C++ and tried making my blackjack game into a script. Try to scavenge your room for money and if you have enough ask your mom to let you get mp1 or 2. It may seem weird, but I've used a segment or entity from one of those packs in every level I've made(That would be a lot)

In my opinion the egyptian model packs (8 and 17) are the best. They are really beautiful and I wish every model pack was like them. The only thing I could wish for is some more entities with random egyptian stuff that you would expect to find in tombs and pyramids. But maybe that is comming in a seperate pack?

For weapons I would pick model pack 9 and 10 without a doubt.

OMG! Mp6 is so COOL!

Scurvy Lobster, search for Cheese Cake's tomb pack. It's free, and contains lots of Egyptian entities and segments.

Get MP10, it's well worth the money.

And, if you don't mind me asking: why and how did you break a car window? I feel bad for you, getting into trouble over (hopefully) an accident.

The MP5 hands aren't properly rigged, the only animations are the arms moving not the fingers.

I know this one guy online who's name is Daniel Higgins. I talk to him on MSN every now and then. He's made some really fantastic model packs. I wish there was a way to get them...

My best model pack for me would be MP3. If you haven't heard of Emergence: Warehouse, check it out. It uses a lot of Model Pack 3 and has been greatly complemented. (Thanks again to all those who like it)

I'd go with 3 because if you get a pack that is guns only you won't use all of em in every level where as with mp3..well its got a lot of stuff in it..

I wish I would've gotten 3 over 2. And I really wish I would've waited for mp6 to come out over getting mp5. The hands are down right horrible and I do not think that I got my money's worth at all. Although I love the bat lol. And MP1 is good too.

10, then 9, then 6, then 5. Kinda like they're in order But if I could only have one pack, I'd actually get MP1.
