Heres a picture of 2 windows i've made using BlueGui to use an my programme, Each window is made from a borderless window attached to the desktop, and a seperate panel attached to the desktop to allow 2 layers of alpha transparancy

Here you can see the probelem at the bottom caused because im attaching gadgets direct to the desktop, How do i hide these icons, IanM's dll didn'twork with these so im stuck on how to hide them from the startbar.

My code will only hide the DBPro application icon in its current form.

Send me some code that I can play with and I'll see if I can put together a new version that does the job for you.

this simply makes 1 window, 1 panel, both on the desktop

You can hide the startbar icons if you link them to the dark basic window instead, but then you loose the ability to use panels and other Gadgets outside the window.

In order to get use to using gadgets like this i did a "Mac OSX Desktop Emulator" coplete with calculator and notepad made in dark basic, (See Attached Picture), but i had to stop as the popup window above create 2 additional starbar icons, this Mac Programme creates about 50 to allow semi transparant menus, Skinned Windows, ect.

its a Shame blue dosnt have a command to just tur off the icons

The commands will be in the next release - I think that'll be in a few days.

If the gadgets are showing when you use the HIDE WINDOW ICON command, they will flash. There's nothing I can do about this.
The best suggestion I have for you to avoid this is to set all gadgets to be invisible when initially created (see setGadgetDefaults command), then use my new command, then show the gadget (setGadgetVisible).
