first off, its possible right?

second off, should i build it as a single player game first, then add DirectPlay (or whatever its called to allow multiple players play it)

Yes it is possible

And building it single first or starting off with a client is really upto your decision, but I would advise looking into other networking libs than Directplay as it isnt supported anymore and overall sucks...

It isnt just making it, and putting it multiplayer, it will take you a long time, and it will be a huge project, but good luck.

It's possible.

The documentation that is installed on your system contains a tutorial on how to get it working.

The help file is located here:

"\Program Files\The Game Creators\Dark GDK\Documentation\Dark GDK.chm"

Click on search

Type in player, hit enter

Double click on the second "untitled" result that shows up.

It will contain a tutorial to learn the basics.

You should start with the LAN multi-player platform first, and learn how to pass the co-ordinates of players around, from there it's only as complex as you want to make it.

Most of all, have fun and search these forums for the cure to your headaches.

why doesn't it work the way I want it to!
