Hi, built my first level last night, but when I ran a 'test level' it froze at a certain point every time. So I built a stand alone exe, but this does the same thing at the same point. I go a different route to avoid the first freeze zone but a little later on it freezes again.
My level does not yet contain any enemies or lighting, and I kept the texture quality low for the purposes of testing size/length etc.
The only way to get out of the frozen game/test is to run taks manager and End Task.
I am running version one on a quad core machine with a Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT.
I fthere is anyone out there who can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Try poping in the Disc and running off the EXE in the disc(Go through the setup screen where you installed the program).

I had your same problem, and it's most likely caused by Vista(If your running it). Try it. If that doesn't work, contact TGC.

If you are windows vista, just change the compatibility to windows XP(sp2) and run it as administrator also. I had the same problem, It was slowing down (not freezing), when I would build it or just in test mode. Good luck.
