Is there a way to make the weapon model in your HUD invisible?
I tried re-texturing it with a true black color in .dds format, and it appeared all black, not transparent!
Also is there a way to change the position of the weapon so it cant be seen in your HUD?

Hi CaKalOh!, just open the setuplevel.fpi and rem out this line.
you will need to do the line for the ammo numbers too.

Thanks alot Candle_, I will try it later

"rem out" ??? does it mean to remove that line, or to add it somewhere? If I have to add it, where should I do it?
And will this apply for all picked up weapons, because I would like to do it for only one weapon, if possible.

In the scripting language, a ; (semi-colon) tells the engine that the rest of the line is a remark, or REM. Just place a semi-colon at the beginning of the line and the engine will ignore it.

When you want the line back, just remove the semi-colon.

Best.

I did that but it changed nothing
And another thing, I think you got me wrong, acording to the lines you are reffering to the weapon image, and ammo numbers below it.
I was saying about the animated 3D MODEL of the weapon.
I want IT to be gone, by any means(retextured, repositioned,...)but still to be functional(to shoot)and not visible.

I tried to retexture it with a semi-transparent texture, and it worked, the weapon was semi-transparent,but when I retextured it with a full-transparent texture, the weapon was all black!

I attached a picture to better explain my problem.

...did you change the line in the gunspec.txt file, that points to the texture?

Yes I changed the gunspec file, but with no results, BUT that doesn't matter anymore because I SOLVED IT ! ! !
I simply used another 0,0,0 black texture, with the only difference being bigger in pixels(512x512), I don't know why the smaller ones(64x64) didn't work, but it is OK now... finally

So, here's the texture I used in case if someone else want's to make things invisible

Thanks to all of you who tried to help me
