Any ideas on how to Rotate a camera around an axis parallel to the direction of Mouse Movement?

I assume it will involve creating a vector from the MouseMove variables, and finding the normal to this. Then we could setup a rotation quaternion from the axis and the angle (which is based upon the amount the mouse has moved).

Does this sound correct and has anyone managed a similar thing?
