Hi All,

I was wondering what video card I should keep in mind while deving a game. I have 3 different video cards on 3 different computers I use and my games seem to be within a few frames of each other when I execute the compiled .exe.

Is there a prefered card gamers are using in the world? Should I even be concerened about it?

Radeon 9x00 and GeForce 2/3/4 tend to be the most common throughout the gamer circles, particularly GeForce4mx and Radeon 9700

It depends on how much you want to spend. a 9700Pro is a really good deal right now but there going to be out of production soon. www.newegg.com is a great place to buy hardware.

@Raven, you got it. I want to dev for the most commonly used cards.

@FroggermonSSE, oh yeah, a 9700 pro would be great to have, but if I dev for that card, say my game is 300fps then I put it on the web and others DL it and only get 60fps, well that kinda defeats my purpose. Thanx for 9700 info though.
