This is an amazing mod... I have been beta testing this in secret for Plystire and you can use any two weapons not just two of the same type...

I don't see any in this pic... there must be a problem with your video card

I see them as well, around the gun on the left, it looks like it's just been pasted really badly in.

But hey, the mod sounds cool, I look forward to seeing it released!

come on plystire, you are good enough to REALLY pull it off though. I dont see the point in this thread, being as it's fake, but you should consider it, look at all the requests for it!

April Fools, you had me for a minute, but guns (the ones with hands) are usually designed in a right hand so the player would end up with two right hands, although this would be a great feature.

Maybe it isn't a fake, maybe the fake is a fake and maybe the point of this thread shws something very real, not so much fake. Perhaps we should await Ply's return to the thread with great eager beaver ears.

I don't know what you guys are talking about... I don't see a seam in the picture.

And Thraxas is right, you can use ANY two guns together, not the same kinds like the picture shows.

Those aren't seams in the picture, though!

Those are ... errr ... seams on the segments in the game!

Yeah, that's it!

Ply's obviously put the gun on a plain and duplicated it to save polies, and he's just gotta fix a little shader distortion

I don't see how that can be an edited video. That is like too good lol. But then again there are crazy people out there. But if someone can edit a video to that degree than surely dual wield is possible.

He recorded two of the same motion paths of the player walking, and just masked out the 2nd layer in some program like After Effects. Well, it was an animated mask.

OR

He rendered a looping .gif and/or animated .dds, importing it to a movie editing program, duplicating the layer setting it as overlay, and editing hue and color values to match the other gun, and poof you have 2 weapons.

Have you seen todays movies? They make a guy in a little blue suit into Golem. This would seem basic to them. I'm sure ply could manage it.
