I have a feeling I’m going to get yelled at but I am having difficulty, and a point to a different forum or instructions would be helpful.I am having trouble getting my models into FPSC with all its textures. I have exported it as .x and converted all the textures to .dds and have all supporting files in
C:\...\FPS Creator\Files\entitybank\user

Then I go into "MakeEntitiesFromXFiles.exe" and leave the texture field blank. After that when I go into FPSC the model looks textured and fine when placing it - in the creation mode. But then when I go into test mode the textures are gone. Any Help would be appreciated; I am running Windows Vista 64 bit I hope that’s not a problem in this circumstance.

Thanks but looks like he found a workaround trick. I need it to work by just importing because these models will be sold on the FPSC Store.

...piece of cake.

1. From within your 3D modeling program, assign textures to the objects, as you wish for them to appear ingame. Export to .x format.

2. Open the .x file with notepad, and do a search for "texture". Clean up all texture callouts. Save.

3. Place the texture files into the same folder with the .x file, when you import it into FPSC.

4. Open the .fpe file, and make sure that the textured= line is left blank. There must be no texture called by the .fpe file, for the multiple textures to work.

The textures called by the .x file itself will load and apply the multiple textures ingame.

Thanks for the help but I figured out multiple textures but now I am having trouble with collision. I set it to polygons and I still can not walk on top of my bridge.

Thanks but I am having a little trouble. I can get the Texture to show with Dynamic but I need collision to be Polygons but that doesn’t work. And then when I do Static, I can do Polygons but the Textures Don’t show. Its like I either get the Textures or the collision, help
