DLL Talk / Styx - CDATA and DTD problems

I'm having a few issues with Styx when reading certain XML files and wondered whether other users are experiencing these problems.

First of all Styx reports my Doctype declaration as my root node? Secondly ( and more importantly for my XML usage ) if Styx comes across content that contains CDATA, it seems to ignore all the other child nodes on that level.

I believe I could find workarounds for these issues, but can anyone else confirm their existence ?

Aside from these little issues it seems like a great addition to DarkBASIC

Currently Styx only supports a subset of the XML specs. There'll be an update (due mid/end this month). Among other things the XML part will see some major improvements and make it more compatible with standard XML files.

Here is a rather old post that might help:
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/xml/2001-October/msg00196.html

The CDATA issue might be related to that, but...make sure that the element you are using is correct. Some elements are siblings, and you would need to traverse sideways in that case, using next, as opposed to children.

Cheers for the feedback guys.

Brilliant! That sounds fantastic, would this update be an additional fee ?
