---EDIT--- Demo released, see here

Here's a nice high res image from Phenom.

Castle1

Features of this game along with some videos are over at my site for those that don't know.

I'm closer to putting out a demo of this....going to test it at a LAN Party this Saturday, then I'm on to uploading it to my site.

The videos on my site are a bit old, as I've replaced the Hover-Bots with human players since then, but they're are still stand-in player models until I really make my own. Same goes for weapons.

Enjoy!

Nice, I was waiting for some news about it... BTW, what weapons are you going to have?

OK here's an update:

There are still quite a few bugs...

- Bots don't follow a path network yet, they 'look' to see where they can go and sometimes get lost in large maps. They're a little funny on their rotation when they fire. They may also slip thru the floor now and then.

- Beam weapons (there are two) are a bit weird as the beams don't collide quite right.

- You can't reconfigure controls yet, even if you change them in the ini file. Screen res is changeable, but anything other than 1024 x 768 and the menu will look weird. Changing it from 16 to 32 bit and vsync on/off is cool.

Other than that, the game is quite playable. I haven't finished the castle map yet, and vehicles are still way down the road. I have tested it with 5 people over a LAN and Internet, and it plays quite well. The game is easily mod-able too

I could go ahead and release a beta demo if anyone's interested, and I can release updates when I have new maps/bug fixes available.

Anyone interested?
