well, i have a working project that works properly in my XP but when i transferred the project in a laptop that runs in vista the mesh of the 3D world seemed to be distorted - the walls are all colored blue with random images of binary in some parts. though the sprites and some other functions of the program do work properly.

what seemed to be wrong here?

Vista.. It took one of my Eyes. Vista= XP= Mac= Linux= HPUX= Shoot... C64=

Vista is Bad. Very Very Bad. Silverlight? EVIL! Internet (legal) Piracy! Couldn't download vs2008 express today unless I installed Silverlight! Glad I had a back up! STAY BACK!

Seriously - I hear alot of various "issues" arise whenever Vista is brought up for this game stuff. I hear less bad, and even some good with runniong applications on Vista - but I hear mostly complaints - just look around - I'm not making it up - shader issues, video card issues - I guess the same things happen to XP but - seemingly much less frequently.

Plus, on a previous version of the DarkGDK lib I released - I did a gotomeeting with a vista user - it was blowing up allocating a simple memblock according to the debugger. Though one person I talked to said memblocks work fine - but I saw it not work. Makes me wonder about vista and the VARIOUS LEVELS of it - seems like if I needed to use vista, I wouldn't settle for less than ULTIMATE - nothing worse that not having a stupid feature when you REALLY need it.
