Didn't know where to actually post this, but does anybody have a tip
for a good hex-value for making a sun? If also possible, what do you think is a good lighting range?

Thanks,
tjaabee

Color (DayTime): CCFFFF

Light Range: Whatever it takes to fill up the area that the sun's point at.

I'll use maximum light range, not 50.
(We all know that.)

Staggering the level of the ambience colours can produce a nice effect. For example, if doing lighting for a tunnel, try to make it more brown, or if doing an egyptian level, try a bit more yellow ambience.
