Hi everyone,

You may notice in the code section to the forum this morning that I was looking for a light switch off when pulling on a lamp in fpsc X9.

Well here it is at night, and I can tell you that, since according to my research no one has figured out how to do, I Veler Software, has found a way to do it ^ ^

I intend to get out a patch in a few days, history of doing things well, but in the meantime, here is a video showing you an overview of what I managed to do:

I see! Its a mod that allows dynamic lights to affect the game like static lights. SO you can have good-looking destroyable lights.

That looks awesome! Now people can make a game where you could sneak by enemies by shooting the lights.

Hi,

Escuse me if my english is bad... I'm french and I am not very good in english, sorry.

So, yes, it's a mod who, thanks to him, will allow you to be able shooter on the lights.
It's very sample, you should use 2 fpi script of my creation^^

The only problem that I have noticed, it is that since the lights are dynamic, fpsc does not generate the shades
If the lights are static, the mod not run...

If you have an idea to correct this problem before I did not leave this mod, n' do not hesitate.

Bye^^

Hi,

I'm sorry but,

The mod is still under development, it will ultimately longer than planned because I met some problems.
That's strange, I am going on my site every day to check that he has no problem, and it works perfectly. Just one thing that is not yet clear on my site, it is optimized for Firefox.
By contrast, indeed, I detected several bug with IE, that is why I have decided to end it is optimized for Firefox ^ ^

To be continued ...

Off Topic: FireFox is better.

On Topic: Couldn't you just make a script that when an entity light is destroyed a light turns off?

Yes,

Let me explain,
We create an entity lamp
It is destructive script that I did,
In the video, in fact, when the life of the lamp reaches 0, it activates the script destruction, but it does not destroy the lamp (more realistic). But I would do a script if you want that, unlike others, the entity will disappear lamp

We can already give objects health, so a script isn't really needed. But thanks anyway.

Have you guys every tried making dynamic lights? Destroyable ones are hard enough... but they don't give off any real light. Just the reflection effect on your guns, entities, etc. Maybe this mod makes them more realistic.
