When I try to run my project in VC++ 2008 Express using enhanced animations I get this error:

1>LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'GDK_EnAn.lib'

Any ideas why?

Thanks, z_man

Make sure you have an include and lib path set to point to the correct install location.

For the include - that's easy enough - but you can go to your project's "properties", the linker area, in the "input" section - and put in the complete path and filename to the lib file in the "Additional Dependancies" field.

It would be far more productive in the long run to do it as Mike has suggested...by setting the library and include paths for MSVC++ to include the paths for Enhanced Animations. Otherwise, you'll have to do that manually for every project that uses EA.

That can be accomplished using the menu item Tools/Options. The folder is Projects. Select VC++ Directories. You can do the include and library paths from that dialog, and it will work for every project you have.
