Hi.

I've searched for a way to make good voices for my games. My voice isn't really good, and the people I know who have good voices, don't want to let me record their voice. But now, I found a voice generator. It produces a pretty good voice of whateer you type in the text box. just try it.

But you can't use that for anything commercial... I saw that once, but the license forbids you to use it for anything large-scale.

Sorry but the link is broken. Here is a good link. Not to bad. Pretty impressive, but we're restricted to the voices they provide and none of them work for me.

Yup, just read the restrictions: here is part of the restrictions:

Quote: "Any use that involves wide distribution or long lifetime is probably not OK, whether or not it is commercial. Audio clips used in songs, videos or game levels cannot be made publicly available on the internet. Building or prototyping a software package using our audio rather than recording your own prompts is not OK. If you aren't sure, ask. If you need the software or a license to use the audio please contact Wizzard Software."

Went to the Wizzard site. Each voice, which will synthesizes all words costs $295.00. Kind of steep. I will still be looking for somebody to do it for me for free.

It's cool, but you can't use it in your games. Just hire someone at http://voiceactingalliance.com/. They have a lot of members.

use voice changing software (google it), you can change the sound or make it sound like a sample of someone, so you can make the voice sound like someone else or just change it by changing the settings, instant voice change on the fly in real time.

How 'bout Audacity and change your voice pitch. It works perfectly.
