Hello. I recently bought Milkshape (finally) and whipped up this MP5 model. It still needs a texture, and it needs animating, but i'm pretty pleased with it so far. Here's a screen of it texture-less ingame to prevent this from being locked:

(BTW, if someone was willing to make me a texture, that'd be much appreciated)

UPDATE: Video of animations ready. Click the link below:

And here's a pic of it in Milkshape. Comments are always appreciated.

Nice work, looks like a simple, non-complex H&K gun!

EDIT: Oh, duh...

EDIT2: Now to be crutial. You have forgot to put on the bolt (at least that is what I have come to understand it as). See the image for what I mean. That is there so when it is pulled back and switched into the lock position, it empties out the chamber, and when it's flipped back, it loads another bullet into the chamber. Anyway, a little H&K 101 for yah.

Keep it up,

Thanks for the tip, Mezo, but I have not forgotten. I'll put that in when I animate it. Oh, and it's called a charging handle. For now, here's a screen of it with a crappy texture.

BTW, here's where I learnt about the MP5 and how it works:

EDIT: I may make a silenced version if anyone's interested.

Wow, very cool, now if only it was animated with MP 10 hands

Erm, that's because it is...

That would be cool. It would be good if EAI released his hands to the general public, then everyone could use the same guns!

BTW, i've just started animating it. Thanks for all the comments.

Oh, good. Thankyou!

EDIT: Ok, this is driving me nuts. I need someone to help me get this FPSC ready. Before you say weapon creator, i've used it and it caused me no end of trouble. I've tried not using WC and that has also caused me no end of trouble.

Give me the files, and I could try to help you. A note though: I suck at modeling and animation, so if thats whet you want, forget it

Not a prob. Already done. All you have to do is import it. Gimme a sec to get them ready.

EDIT: Here you go, Slayer. Be sure to read the instructions included.

Ok so some weird things happened. First off, the good news: it works in game. Now the bad news: It is centered in the screen no matter what I do to it. I've tried everything I can think of! I think the problem may be in the way you animated/modeled it. I can't be sure, but either way, here's the files. Drop the folder "mp5" into your gamecore/guns/modernday, good luck.

IWTG, what exactly did you do to get this ingame?

Ran it through W.C.S EA, copied the positioning values and adjusted an existing gun spec with the frame numbers you provided. Then I copied positioning values, and then adjusted the firespot positioning values.
