i have installed the fpsc 1.8 upgrade, but as i try to open fpsc a message tells me i need to install the lastest Direct X (october 2006 or later)

what can i do? is this direct x 10?

Nope, just go to Microsoft:s website and download the latest version of DirectX. BTW, If your using FPSC X10, I don't know what to do, someone else has to answer for you then.

You can use Dx10 on xp aswell, but I would go for dx9, just to be safe.
