Many people were having problems with the Dragon Rolfy had made including myself. Version 1.07 seemed to not like many of the custom made animated creatures. However, I re-downloaded his spiders and dragon and they now work great for me. This is just to let people know.

You can download it here (look under "entities"):

That would be reason enough to get 1.09 then, as I've been trying to get that Dragon to work for some time now. Even under 1.08 the dragon was still giving me problems.

I never tried it with 1.08 so I hope it now works for you. When I was again looking for a dragon, this was the only one that was available that was FPSC ready. I wasn't going to download it again but thought I would go ahead and try it. Glad I did.

v1.09 didn't work for me either. Guess I just have bad luck.

Turn on shaders to get it to work in any version of FPSC
I know of cases where this still didn't help but then for some reason they would start working.

If for some reson they work in new update then I am glad to hear it.

You know what rolfy, I didn't start to use full shaders until I was using version 1.09. That may be the reason why it is working for me now. I kinda feel like an idiot if it could have worked for me even in version 1.07. This thread probably isn't necessary, then. Oh well, never had thought it could have been a shaders thing. However, the spiders never worked very well either but they seem to work now for me.

BTW, rolfy, thank you very much for the dragon and spiders. The dragon is one of the main mythical characters in my current game. It is Tiamat. Now, I know that dungeons and dragons uses the name Tiamat but they do not have exclusive rights to it as it is a mythical name. In fact I came up with it before I even knew that other games have used it as well.

The spiders will be in a couple of levels in this game as well. Have a couple on me rolfy.

That's funny, when I try full shaders I can't ever get a test game to work, even if it's a fresh level. Always freezes my comp about command 275: Saving and Optimizing Universe. So to me, anyway, this thread is still relevant.

Your computer doesn't have very good specs then!
I haven't been catching up, I'm off to get V1.09. Still on .06

Yeah, kinda what I get for putting an 8400 in an eMachine. Still, for almost two years that's the only real improvement I've had to make, and at least as far as X9 goes, I'm able to run a pretty large level on it so long as I don't have anything else running.

I ended up finding out what my problem was anyway; I had "Automatic Floors" turned on. Once I turned that off, I was able to load the game and the dragon worked fine.
