if you've installed the GDK, go to the start menu -> programs -> the game creators -> Dark GDK -> Documentation

Check the function names a bit - get a feel for the names - then check out the tutorials in the Dark Basic Pro threads... many tutorials - and you might get some ideas from there - the GDK and DBPRO itself are similiar - but the language semantics are different.

That's what I do.. I look n dbpro code snippets, then convert manually... once I get the idea down - I do it myself from scratch..
