I want to make a MMORTS that would be a lot like Boundless Planet, only with a few of my own ideas mixed into it.

I liked the idea behind Boundless Planet, but there where a few things about it I just hated (Such as graphics and simplicity)

Could I make a game like that with DarkBASIC or is D.B. strictly for FPS and RPG style games?

Anything worth doing, is worth paying somebody else to do it for you.

You can, but it would be hard. And, if what I here is correct, 256 max characters.

Start with a basic pong or space invaders or something simple. Then go there when you understand every aspect of DBC/DBP.

I meant players. This is a quote from the help guide on the create Net game.

@CJSommie
You can pretty much make any kind of game you want with DB but it takes a lot of work. DB is a programming language and it is not genre specific. There aren't any shortcuts except that the language lends itself to fairly simple creation of 3d and 2d graphics.

Enjoy your day.
