DarkGDK always worked fine before, but yesterday I started it up and I got a BUNCH of errors. Everything is linked right because it is reading the files. I don't know how this even happened.

I reinstalled DarkGDK and VC++ already, nothing worked.

All of those linker errors are telling you that the linker cannot find the DX library files.

It isn't linking at all. Its compiling, but it can't resolve the calls into DirectX that GDK libraries are making.

I think that either your DirectX install is broken, or the library path in VC++ has been trashed somehow.

You can verify the library path by choosing Tools/Options, double click the Projects folder, select VC++ Directories, and select Library Files. The path for DirectX Aug 2007 should be in there.

Could someone post the proper path for SW? I don't have GDK and I use VS2003.

Ill try verifying DX is in the place again.
