FPSC Classic Models and Media / problem character

hello,

if got a problem with some fpsc characters,
if i test the game, i can see trough the characters, for a little bit

what is my problem,
i installed him again and use v1.8

Make sure the character is not using the "appear2.fpi" for its INIT script.
If so, change it to "appear1.fpi".

appear2.fpi is used for a fade in on the spawn

he is using appear1, i think it is something whith the texture, you see much little triangles, very strange

You need a new graphics card. Those "little triangles" are polys.

well, my videocard is old, geforce 5200
buth a time ago i didn't had the problems, buth the most importent is, if someone download my game, and has a good videocard, can he see the triangles too or does he see the character normal

i want to, buth if i try (print screen) the character is normally, if i press the ''screenshot'' button, the character looks normally, if i dont press the button, he is falling back into triangles

This is most commonly caused by having too many entities (dynamic) in one confined space which uses up too much memory in the Fpsc engine.

Try removing a few entities (dynamic) or make them 'static' and you also have to remember that characters have a high poly count so not too many of them in one room at one time.
