Easy way. Get FPSC X10 which has DarkAI and allows you to select character behaviour from friendly / neutral / enemy and a host of other behaviour properties.

Otherwise your going to need to install FPSC v1.07 and then use one of the mods which allows for allies.

Lastly, Uman has developed an AI script which allows for ally behaviour with official versions of FPSC but am not sure at this point if he intends to release it.

Now that he's proved it's possible my advice would be to look at the stock character AI scripts, learn as much about FPSC scripting as you can and start trying out your own in case he doesn't release it or Dark AI doesn't make it into FPSC X9.

If that sounds like a big ask then go with my first point and buy FPSC X10 where the work has already been done for you.

It's so funny when newbies ignore stickies and the same thread appears time after time.

Edit: And there's a solution right beneath this thread!
