After working my butt off trying to find the reason FPSC multilayer wouldn't work on my other computer i finally figured it out.

So i got on the game on 2 different computers and i put in my name (i noticed that the i.p address section had nothing in it, even though i was connected to the internet).

So i started a game on one of the computers and got on the other one and chose "join game". Of course i saw the game that i started on my other computer.

It said 1____Beefee (his name)_____ *NO I.P ADDRESS*

There is no i.p address so how do i join the game?

If the computer has a network adapter and TCPIP protocol installed, then it has an IP address. I don't know why it doesn't show up, but it has one.

You'll just have to run IPCONFIG from the command prompt to see it.

Best.

Are both of the computers with the same IP Address? In the same internet connection? or The same network?

Thank you for responding.

Well the computers are both connected to the same router if thats what you mean. (they are connected with ethernet cables).

What happens when i want to connect to the internet

-I double click an icon that says sympatico (my internet provider)
-Then i enter a user name and password (both user and pass are the came for both computers)
